HELLO EVERYONEEEEE !!!
It's been a while I did not update in here, almost 1 year huh? Lol. 2015 has passed and now we are in 2016 guys, can't you imagine it? It's so fast! haha. Just like last year I have no plan for new year's eve party / anything. Just stay at home, watching tv and ate martabak Lol that's good too, right? I was watching Filosofi Kopi on TV, it's a nice movie! Anyone watch Filosofi Kopi too?? I heard it's a nice movie but I did not have a chance to watch it when it was showing in the cinema. So I'm excited to watch it when one of TV channel have this movie for new year's eve.
Let's change the topic, I'm not going to review / talk about Filosofi Kopi now hahaha. Earlier this year one of my best friend since high school, Trifa, invite me to her wedding party. After having relaitonship for a looong time finally she and her boyfriend decided to get married. Congrats!! 1st January, right after new year's eve, she held a tradition called 'siraman', a procession the bride have to do before her wedding day. Me and Lala accompany her when the procession was held. We became so sentimental just like her when she was sungkem (ask for apology) to her parents. Tears drop from our eyes, as well as some other visitors haha.
On 2nd January, the time for wedding party and akad. I wacthed the akad and she looks really beautiful in her wedding dress before and after akad. It's a Javanese traditional wedding dress. Trifa and her husband came from Javanese family so they held the wedding in Javanese way. There are so many procession the groom and the bride have to do after their akad. It's interesting to see all the procession, just like pemangku adat said "Tradition is not a ritual, it just a learning process". All the procession is full of meaning. Once again, congrats to Trifa and Lambang! So happy to see you guys get married and become a family now! Sakinah, mawadah, warohmah, Amin :D
